Geuss what? Yesterday was the last day of school!!! Whee! So, since our mascot is a panther, the last day of school is just the panther party. First, in the gym, we played tug-of-war. Then we moved on to the cafeteria.
In the cafeteria was a band some of the teachers formed. The choir/music teacher played the electric guitar and sang most of the time. Two LA teachers also sang. There was a drummer, too. He was wearing a purple tie. Awesome. right? So then my gym teacher played the electric base.
This was the second Panther Party of the year (there was one after first semester). The first time my gym teacher didn't sing, so me and my BF Ally were really mad. Well this time he SANG! AND HE WAS REALLY GOOD! He should be in the Fray, I'm dead serious!

Softball
So, I'm on a girls softball team. Here's how the last game went.
In my opinion, the umpire was favoring the other team. Grrrr.... The coach of the other team even had a nick-name for the her!
The strike zone is neck to knees. It also has to be over the plate. So, if I'm leaning back because the ball is coming at where my head would naturaly be while in batting position, it's not a strike right? You get it.
We still only lost by one stupid point, so there. Ha-ha.

Spring Break! Woot!
HOORAY! HOORAH! HAROO! HUZZAH! TIS SPRING BREAK!
So happy! There's like, nothing on TV, but whatev, no school! I went to Key Lime Cove w/ my dad on Sunday and Monday. It was fun! My favorite part was the toilet waterslide! I went down backwards each time save one. So awesome! There was also a huge water-spray-y-fort-thing that made me feel like a little kid! I was dumping buckets of water on unsuspecting people, spraying kids with hoses, and all the while trying not to get sprayed by someone else. My uncle and Jaxon of course were there too. Oh, it was awesome! They have a great arcade, and they have a candy bar. THere are jawbreakers the size of a fist! I'm NOT exagerating at all! Seriously! Best water resort. Oh, and not to be mixed up with KoKo Keys. Key Lime Cove and Koko Keys are two VERY different things! Key Lime cove, I have to say, is waaaay better! There isn't room service, but hey, you're not there to be waited on hand and foot, you're there to swim! Duh! Oh, and don't spend too many tokens on air hockey in the arcade. You don't get any tickets from it :(.
When we got back to my dad's apartment, we ate dinner, watched some of Harry Potter the Order of the Pheonix, and went to bed. But, I kept my reading light on until 1 am and read while Jaxon played his DS. Tuesday we went to the park after finishing the movie. THen we went clothes shopping. I got some really cute flats at maurices and some khakis at Old Navy. I was exhausted when we got home. THen I just messed around on youtube and got my energy back. Dad went to bed so I had to put Jaxon and myself to sleep. But, again, I read and he played until 1 am. It'll probably be the same thing tonight, but I'll be watching movies with Lauren. She's my mom's boyfriends daughter. She's in sixth grade, same as me.
Finaly, what I'm doing now.
I'm at my mom's work. This keyboard is driving me nuts. The letters are wearing away and the keys are all pushed out and bulgy. I prefer laptop keyboards, where all of the keys are flat without space in between.

Update!
I haven't posted in a while, but my play's over. I got pink roses for it, and all of my family said I did great. It was fun! I only had two parts, but what the heck, it was fun!
Texas-
Before the play, me, my mom, and Jaxon went on vacation to Texas. We were attacked bythe gulf of Mexico! So, Jaxon, mom, and I were standingg in the ocean with the waves up to our feet. My grandparents had rented a house there for the month of Febuary, so they came with us to the beach. My grandma was taking our picture and the water was freezing! After grandma took the pic, I turned and saw a big wave coming toward us! I'm like "Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and we all started running. Not fast enough, I guess. We were all soaked from the butt down. Brr!!! And our shoes almost got washed away. And the car got stuck in the sand. That was our first day at the beach.
Woo-hoo!
Well, it's better than 20 degrees in Chicago, am I right???

Marcella
The school play is coming up.
When I first tried out, I didn't think that I'd even get in. Being the youngest grade in the school makes you kind of a last resort, you know? But I got in........... I was a playroom toy.
The play is Ragedy Anne and Andy, and the playroom toys are added in, and mostly scenery. But, at the first rehersal the playroom toys went to, there was some news. Two people couldn't be in the play, and the director was adding in the little girl who owns the toys to the play. So, the playroom toys tried out for the parts. My friend who got into the play got a part as a banana bear. She and another girl carry a giant banana peel onstage and do a dance. I got the part as Marcella. The only human in the play. Yay!
